    Getting Started

Partyfy is a collaborative playlist application for Spotify. It allows multiple people to add tracks to a shared playlist and vote for their favorite songs. The most voted tracks are played first, letting everyone participate in the musical atmosphere!

To create an account, click on "Join Partyfy" then sign in with your email (a login link will be sent to you) or with your Google account. It's quick and no password to remember!

Spotify connection happens automatically when you create your first playlist. Partyfy will redirect you to Spotify to authorize access to your account. This step is necessary to create playlists and control playback.

    Creating and Managing a Playlist

Once logged in, go to the home page and enter your playlist name in the provided field. If it's your first playlist, you'll be redirected to Spotify to authorize access. Your playlist will then be created and ready to share!

In your playlist, you'll find a share button that generates a unique link and QR code. Share this link with your friends via message, email or social media, or display the QR code for them to scan with their phone.

As the playlist creator (owner), access settings via the gear icon. You can change the name, cover image, manage participants (block/unblock), and configure notifications.

In your playlist settings, scroll down to find the delete option. Warning, this action is irreversible and will delete all tracks and messages associated with it.

    Adding Music

In your playlist, use the search bar to find tracks on Spotify. You can search by title, artist or album. Click on a result to add it to the playlist. Recommendations based on your playlist's genres are also suggested.

Each added track receives an initial score. Participants can vote for their favorite tracks by clicking on them. The more votes a track has, the higher it moves in the list and the sooner it will be played. It's musical democracy!

Yes! In your Partyfy playlist settings, you can paste a Spotify playlist URL to import all its tracks. It's ideal for starting with a musical base.

    Participating in a Playlist

Click on the share link sent by the playlist creator or scan the QR code. If you don't have a Partyfy account, you can quickly create one. Once logged in, you'll automatically join the playlist.

Simply click on a track in the list to vote for it. Your vote increases the track's score and moves it up in the playback order. You can vote for as many tracks as you want.

Each playlist has a discussion area. Access it via the message icon. You can chat with other participants, suggest vibes or just chat during the party!

    Music Playback

Only the playlist creator can control playback. Access the Partyfy player from your playlist. Make sure Spotify is open on the device where you want to play music (phone, computer, connected speaker).

Queue mode allows Partyfy to automatically manage playback. It monitors your Spotify playback and adds the next track from the playlist 20 seconds before the current track ends. You can use Spotify normally while Partyfy manages the playlist.

In your playlist settings, you'll find the export to Spotify option. You can choose to export only played tracks or all tracks. A new playlist will be created in your Spotify account.

    My Account

Access your profile via the menu in the top right corner. You can change your display name that will be visible to other playlist participants.

In your account settings, click on your current picture to upload a new one. The image should be in JPEG format for best results.

In your account settings, you'll find the delete option at the bottom of the page. This action will permanently delete your account, all your playlists and associated data. This action is irreversible.
