Data Collected
When using Partyfy, we may collect the following data:
- Email address (for authentication)
- Display name and profile picture
- Your Spotify account data (with your permission)
- History of playlists created and shared
- Messages exchanged in playlist chats
Use of Data
Your data is used to:
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Enable the creation and sharing of collaborative playlists
- Sync your playlists with Spotify
- Improve our services and your user experience
Spotify Integration
Partyfy uses the Spotify API to function. When you connect your Spotify account, we only access data necessary for the service to work (reading playlists, adding tracks, playback control). We do not store your Spotify credentials. Access tokens are encrypted and used only for interactions with the Spotify API.
Data Sharing
Your personal data is never sold to third parties. It may be shared with other users of your collaborative playlists (display name, messages). We use Firebase (Google) for hosting and data storage, in accordance with their privacy policies.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data

Cookies
